My brother bet that if I could get a girlfriend by 2011, I’d win this guitar — and I won the bet. It’s a Telecaster copy, actually. There’s also a ding on this guitar from a Meiday gig, where Joey Santos saw The Strangeness. We ended up recording our first EP, Jesus Camp, with him under Wide-Eyed Records at Love One Another Studio.
This Batman is actually a car emblem which my girlfriend got me from Hong Kong. I really dig Batman. Other stickers on it are a Tama Na Ang Drama Ang Bandang Shirley sticker designed by Tof Zapanta, and a sticker of the technical metal band, Sin. I also stuck an Apple logo because I’m a fan of Apple products. It’s up-side down because I have this move where I play my guitar over my head, and when I do, the apple’s the right way up.
